Nobody talks about how much work goes into a beautiful photo or setup. I think rather than breaking the spell, acknowledging the process gives even more value to what is happening. These photos owe their existence to a late night, an early morning, a long drive, and then seven miles of back-and-forth, ant-like ferrying furniture and props over soft sand. I think that knowing that this represents the effort and creative collaboration of a lot of people makes it even more beautiful.
