8 Months of Garden Blooms
Last summer, I decided to start documenting what was blooming in my garden in flat lay form. Because the interplay of what’s blooming when is so specific to place and even to season, I wanted a way to see at a glance what was happening. “Oh, that’s right, the Chinese Dogwood actually blooms later than I remembered - same time as the first allium and the gladioli.” That kind of thing. I started it as a learning and reference tool, and it grew into something beautiful and fun.
The garden is starting to wake up in earnest, so I’m really looking forward to capturing the spring as it unfolds.
