TASTING | ENTERTAINING IN TINY CAKE FORM

If it were up to me, every wedding would just be a very, very special dinner party. Entertaining is one of my great loves. Not entertaining in the sense of cracking jokes and being the life of a party - (no thanks, I'll be in the kitchen) - but entertaining as an opportunity to offer something beautiful and share it with others in a personal way. To facilitate gathering and mutual experience. It might border on a mania... the same craziness that makes people who really love the experience of summer camping spend all their spare cash at REI and overnight in sweaty sleeping bags in the August woods with the mosquitos. Foreign to many, but dearly beloved to select devotees. Cake tasting is a process which just begins to crack open that Pandora's box to my clients. We get to sit down, eat cake together (well, you, not me...) and discuss ideas. It's one step left of heaven.
